While well-known for his electric guitar work in the southeast's jam scene, found his beginnings as a songwriter, composer, and singer which laid that foundation.

Drawing from a deep well of experience, as a soloist, he calls on stirring melodies, thought provoking lyrics, and powerful dynamics to create an unforgettable performance.

Born in Michigan, Ben was raised on Motown, and the local oldies stations. As a teen he relocated to Florida and discovered a new wave of influences, cultures, and way of life.

A true melting pot of soul, funk, acoustic, and rock music he found himself leading regional powerhouse, Herd of Watts in the early 2010's opening for major acts such as Snarky Puppy, Lettuce, Dumpstaphunk, The revivalists, The Nth Power, and playing the festival circuit and a packed club schedule. 

In 2017 he formed Ben Strok and The Full Electric which grew into the exploding new band Wigeon by 2021. You can find him all over the Southeast performing - But, when he's at home, he is in the studio for session work, recording projects, and working out new material.
